A dozen members of our club showed up Saturday at the University City Firehouse to help collect a substantial amount of  food donated by the U City community as part of the Scouting for Food drive by the Boy Scouts.  
The Rotary Club of Clayton-Ladue wishes to celebrate Wydown Middle being selected as a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School! Congratulations to Principal Dr. Jamie Jordan and the entire team at Wydown!
 
Our club ushered in the Dan Feichtner Presidential term in fine fashion at Algonquin Golf Club on Wednesday, June 30th.  With great food and fellowship, we also welcomed in the new officers and directors as outgoing President Dave Powers also presented awards to various members.  
 
Club President Dave Powers, officers Khary Floyd and Tim Durbin attend the Grand Opening of The Believe Project at Halls Ferry Intermediate School as part of the club's support for Julius Anthony and the St. Louis Black Authors of Children's Literature.

Jordan is what is called a water challenged country. They are struggling to educate the children of millions of Syrian, Iraqi, and Palestinian refugees in crumbling buildings that run on double shifts.  UPDATED AS OF April, 2021 - our partners in Jordan report that our work has improved the lives of 14,227 refugee children!!    
 
 
Clayton Ladue President –Elect Dan Feichtner and President Dave Powers are pictured at the Gateway Arch with District Governor Tom Drennan and Joy Drennan at the Mississippi River Clean Up on Saturday, September 26th.  The Clean Up was conducted by various organizations including Rotary from the source of the Mississippi in Minnesota to Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico.  Plastic waste including plastic bags, bottles, drinking straws and cups were the worst polluters on the riverfront!
